Former WHITE ZOMBIE Drummer, Phil Buerstatte Dies
Phil Buerstatte, drummer for White Zombie from 1992 to 1994 and for Last Crack from 1986 to 1997 has passed away earlier this weekend. We just keep losing them in 2013, don’t we? Buerstatte was found dead in Madison, Wisconsin, this weekend with no further details available at the moment….

I think we should should release another album again??? As for me.. I’m ready to release one with someone who wants to be the singer ofSYSTEM, not someone we have to beg to be a part of SYSTEM!!

El bajista de System Of a Down, Shavo Odadijan, ante la avalancha de fans histéricos buscando respuesta a la clásica pregunta de: ¿Cuándo volverá SOAD? el bajista ha cedido y estas son sus declaraciones, agarraos fuerte:
¡Es Serj el que no quiere hacer un nuevo álbum. Por favor, dejad de meteros con nosotros. ¡Estamos esperando a Serj! Ahora probablemente me odiará por sacar la verdad a la luz, pero tenía que hacerlo”. “desde que empezamos con el grupo siempre nos está frenando” o “estoy dispuesto a sacar un nuevo disco con alguien que esté dispuesto a ser cantante de System, no con alguien que esté dispuesto a rogar para ser cantante de System”.
“si no deberíamos tirar para delante y hacer un nuevo disco sin él. Estoy furioso porque nos ha decepcionado, pero tenemos que hacer algo para mantener viva a esta banda”
Tras la noticia, la banda ha emitido un comunicado en el que destaca que las “declaraciones desafortunadas” en la página personal de Facebook de Shavo “no reflejan los sentimientos de System Of A Down como colectivo. Para ser claros, la formación de la banda completa de Serj, Daron, Shavo y John se presentará todas las fechas programadas.” De nuevo trabajo de SOAD no desvelan fecha ni proyecto exacto, lo que sí tienen clarísimo es que “juntos es la única manera de ser fieles a la banda y a nuestros fans“.
